Rough idea of how I teach
I start from the basics where they come from, why they matter and why it makes sense. You get the core ideas straight, everything else builds from them naturally.
It’s always a conversation I try not to just talk at students. We talk things through, ask questions, go back and forth until it clicks.
I help students figure things out on their own With guidance, of course. They can't just know the answer, they have to know how to arrive at it.
I focus on intuition, not just procedure steps can only get you so far. I aim to build the kind of deep understanding that lets students apply concepts flexibly. Once something actually makes sense, you don’t need to memorize much at all.
Mistakes are part of the process Getting stuck or being wrong isn’t a problem. We can use that as a way to dig deeper and learn better.
I keep track of progress Whether it’s regular check-ins or assessments for exam preps, I make sure we’re working toward strong results/grades and what you came for is met.
I adjust as we go Everyone learns differently, so I try to read them and explain things in a way that makes the most sense to them.
